The Australian Geography Teachers’ Association (AGTA) is Australia’s ‘peak’ organisation for school-based geography education. It brings together representatives of the state and territory-based Geography teacher associations.
AGTA’s mission is to foster the teaching and learning of Geography in Australian schools and enhance awareness of its applications in society.
